This site is intended to illustrate natural enemies of black flies (Simuliidae) and midges (Chironomidae). It does not pretend to be a complete coverage of the field, but rather an attempt to make available materials I've collected. All of my examples shown are from Southern California. This is a site whose development is on going and much of it is in a very preliminary state. Participation by interested individuals in the development of this site would be very welcome. I would be happy to link relevant sites (send me the URL) or post materials on this site with appropriate credit given.
